SRSLY?!

I'm working at an NGO, it's run by the Japanese government and ASEAN. You know what's interesting? About 80% of the staff in the office are ladies.

In some ways, it's actually pretty cool for me because it's easy to make friends, and most of them are around my age. I gotta admit, though, I was a bit nervous about the girl squad in the office at first. Drama and gossip, you name it. But hey, things have been smooth sailing so far.

But here's the thing that really got to me, or should I say, really bugged me during my first week at work. It happened to be my first day on my period, and let me tell you, I tend to get a little extra and a bit dramatic when the time comes around. The funny part is, I was still in my probationary period, I didn't dare to take menstrual leave, even though I was entitled to it.

Usually, I can handle those cramps that feel like someone's giving my stomach a serious scrubbing with a toilet brush. But man, that time was a whole different story

So, I went to the restroom, taking a few minutes to meditate  and comfort myself. And as far as I can recall, I swear, I didn't shed a single tear. Seriously

So, you wanna know what went down the next day?

There was this super unpleasant rumor going around in office, that said:

"Ssttt... you know what? Cheche had a little cry sesh in the bathroom yesterday 'cause the boss got all mad at her"
